Our café and roastery live together inside an old 1920s gas station in downtown Swannanoa, North Carolina.

THE COFFEE SHOP

This is where we serve the coffee we roast in house. 

There are the usual suspects—drip coffee, espresso, cappuccinos and the like—along with pour overs, matcha, tea, hot chocolate, lemonade and whatever seasonal thing we've gotten overly excited about lately.

We also take a bit of an experimental approach to coffee and are a bit known for our surprising coffee and tea mocktails. We always have 1 or 2 of them on the menu. We'll say no more...just come check em' out. 

We also have bagels, pastries, cookies, and other things that make coffee better.

Come for five minutes.

Stay for two hours.

Either is fine.

THE ROASTERY

Peak behind the barn door and you'll see where all the coffee gets roasted.

We roast throughout the week, so depending on when you show up you may see coffee going into the roaster, coming out of the roaster, getting packed into bags or several adults standing around drinking tiny spoonfuls of coffee and looking concerned.

All normal.

KIDS ARE PEOPLE TOO.

We wanted this to be somewhere families could actually hang out.

So kids are welcome, and there's a little space for them too (1 in the front room, and 1 in the back room). We also keep a bucket of chalk and a cornhole set on the patio if the weather is cooperating. 

Nobody needs to apologize because their toddler behaved like a toddler.
